Bl John XXIII, pray for us

Each time I've come to the altar where reposes Good Pope John, I've petitioned him to obtain of the Lord that the period of confusion since the Council he called may be ended, and a proper Catholic interpretation of Vatican II, in consonance with the Faith once delivered to the saints, extend itself through the whole Church, for the glory of God and the good of souls, that we may be once again one in belief and practice, and not in peril of splitting into multitudinous warring sects. Since he started the trouble, it's his responsibility under Providence to fix it; let him, like St Thérèse, spend his heaven doing good on earth.

God grant it!

And achieving this would probably count as a miracle sufficient for his canonization... ;-)
