This being the off week for chant practice, and yesterday being otherwise inconvenient, some of us singers had a little soirée (two bottles of wine, some cheese and biscuits), with a good honest discussion of the challenges in keeping Catholic in this day and age. It's so good to be among decent, likeminded folk, with whom one can discuss religion seriously without appearing strange.
Looking forward a few months, I am all booked to go to the Christus Rex pilgrimage from Ballarat to Bendigo (Friday 29th to Sunday 31st October), and hopefully a few others may join me...
